VIENNA, Va., Oct. 26, 2012—Spiramid®, a computer software company that specializes in managing environment, health and safety data for large, multinational corporations, today announced it has signed agreements with two new customers—Monroe Energy and Teva Pharmaceuticals—under the NJVC®SaaS Accelerate program. Under the terms of the agreements, the companies’ EHS data will be managed in Spiramid’s SHE-MIS Web-based software system, hosted at an NJVC highly secure data center.
Utilizing a rapid implementation process, the Spiramid software system will be operational at Monroe Energy in several weeks, and able to interface with its industrial hygiene laboratory, providing for a streamlined IH process.
“Monroe Energy is a natural fit for Spiramid software, which was originally created in support of the oil and gas industry” said David Risi, CIH, CSP, Spiramid principal. “Spiramid is delighted that after reviewing all available options, Monroe Energy chose Spiramid for its EHS data management needs.”
Teva Pharmaceuticals operates its numerous research and development facilities and manufacturing plants around the world, and sought one integrated EHS system for worldwide operations. After comparing the functionality of the Spiramid multifaceted EHS software to its current vendor, Teva decided to make the strategic move to Spiramid.
“I am thrilled that Teva Pharmaceuticals has decided to move its EHS management system to Spiramid after evaluating the quality and power of this integrated software solution,” Risi said. “The level of system and data security NJVC offers also played a key role in solidifying this agreement,” Risi said.
Spiramid’s cornerstone product, SHE-MIS, helps streamline EHS work processes by removing issues with entering, managing and retrieval of data to ensure compliancy with the latest EHS directives and requirements.
