Dec. 28, 2011 — NJVC®, one of the largest information technology solutions providers supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, is pleased to announce the company is an authorized training partner for the National Cloud Technologists Association (NCTA) CloudMaster® and CloudGuru® certification programs. Experts in NJVC’s cloud services team will teach the classes scheduled to begin in February 2012.
CloudMaster is a three-month, intensive program that provides a strong foundation in cloud technologies, overall cloud architecture and management of cloud infrastructure. The program also provides a solid technical background in modern web services deployment and administration. Students will learn the concepts, principles, techniques and practices needed to administer and secure a modern cloud-enabled business environment.
CloudGuru is an advanced, one-month program that teaches CloudMasters to become change agents within their organizations to lead transitions from traditional infrastructure and legacy applications to innovative cloud models, including Software as a Service, Platform as a Service and Infrastructure as a Service. This training module also involves 32 hours of classroom training, with hands-on computer lab work and a mandatory online examination.
NJVC will host an informational open house on Jan. 21 for interested technologists in the Washington metropolitan area to learn more about the two NCTA certification programs.
