CHANTILLY, Va., April 3, 2013— NJVC, an information technology (IT) solutions provider headquartered in Northern Virginia, announces management-level new hires and promotions: George Kantsios in the office of the chief technology officer, Tara Newman in resource management and Terri Schoenrock in solution sales.
Kantsios joined NJVC as director and solutions architect. He leads and provides oversight to the company’s technology development lifecycle, including the development of strategy and architectural roadmaps for corporate investments, priority programs and pursuits. Before joining NJVC, Kantsios was a long-term employee of BAE Systems, and most recently, served as chief engineering and engineering authority for its $650-million IT and cyber security business. He also was senior director, advanced programs, and responsible for planning and managing investments for leading-edge solutions in technologies, such as mobile, cyber and enterprise application solutions. Earlier, Kantsios held senior computer engineering positions with MITRE, HP, Northrop Grumman Corporation and SAIC.
Newman, a long-term NJVC employee, was recently promoted to director, resource management. In this new role, she provides senior-level leadership to the company’s skilled resource management department, including the planning, building and maintaining of staff and organizational capabilities for NJVC and its customer programs. Earlier, as deputy director, resource management, she planned, organized and coordinated the activities of the company’s team of resource management analysts. During her 12-year tenure with the company, Newman also served as deputy director, resource management and transitions; deputy director, financial oversight, business management; operations business manager;information services senior manager; and research officer/supervisor. Before NJVC, she was an Arabic linguistic and intelligence officer with the U.S. Air Force.
Schoenrock is director, healthcare solutions—bringing more than 15 years of experience in health IT to this new role in the company She leads the charge on NJVC’s health and life sciences industry solutions. Previously, Schoenrock was senior business process executive, health IT, with Kaiser Permanente. There, she supported organizational change initiatives within five IT mega process initiatives, and applied Six Sigma, ITIL, COBIT and TOGAF to process improvements. Earlier, Schoenrock was business consulting executive, health and life sciences, with HP. She developed healthcare imaging, workflow and office automation solutions for the largest healthcare organizations in the United States. Schoenrock also served as executive director, IT program management office, with NANA Development Corporation, and owned her own business, Reece Computer Systems. Earlier, she spent several years as global executive director, service oriented architecture, healthcare with HP—her first stint with the company—and founded The Axean Group—an award-winning consulting company in the San Francisco Bay area.
