CHANTILLY, Va., May 8, 2013— NJVC, an information technology solutions provider headquartered in Northern Virginia, is pleased to announce the addition of Jenny Murillo as director, human resources (HR). In this new position, Murillo is responsible for aligning compensation and benefits programs in support of the company’s strategic vision and goals.
Murillo leads and manages a team of exempt-level compensation, benefit and HRIS professionals. She partners with HR and other company leadership to make informed compensation decisions based on best practices and benchmark data.

Before joining NJVC, Murillo was director, compensation and HRIS, with the IDSS division, DRS Technologies. Similarly to her new responsibilities at NJVC, she oversaw the alignment of compensation and HRIS programs in support of the company’s mission. Murillo managed a team of exempt-level compensation and HRIS professionals in support of 3,000 domestic and international employees. Among myriad other responsibilities, she led the annual salary and bonus review process across diverse business units, and leveraged compensation and benefit benchmarks to ensure the company’s competitive market position.
Earlier, Ms. Murillo was director, compensation, benefits and HRIS, with the HTSI business unit with Honeywell. Among other responsibilities, she spearheaded initiatives to improve overall compensation and benefits structures to ensure proper market alignment with targeted competitors, and developed and implemented policies covering base pay, awards, premiums and other compensation and benefits matters.
Ms. Murillo also served in senior HR positions with other organizations, including senior compensation consultant (internal), Booz Allen Hamilton; senior compensation consultant (internal), MCI; manager, compensation and benefits, Mantech; compensation consultant (internal), Baan; compensation manager, CarrAmerica Realty Corporation; and regional HR manager, Brynn Marr Behavioral Healthcare.
Ms. Murillo received her master’s degree in HR management from The George Washington University and her bachelor’s degree in communication from George Mason University. She is CCP and GRP certified and a Six Sigma Greenbelt.
