RENO, Nev. June 28, 2012 — NJVC, an information technology solutions provider headquartered in Northern Virginia, andEDAWN announce the opening of a new 20,000- square-foot data center in Reno, Nev., on the morning of July 18. Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval, several local politicians and NJVC President Jody Tedesco are expected to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The facility will provide high-paying jobs to citizens in the region, with more than 30 when operations are at full capacity.

Constructed in 2002, the two-story building includes approximately 8,000 square feet of raised floor space. The facility will provide a full suite of data center services that will meet Federal Information Security Management Act moderate requirements and Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program security accreditation levels for government customers. The facility also is being retrofitted to meet the security compliance requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards—critical for banking/financial and healthcare customers.
