Management Team
As the President of NJVC®, Jody Tedesco is responsible for developing and driving the corporate strategic plan while providing the vision, direction and leadership to ensure the company reaches its goals.
Mr. Tedesco oversees all company divisions that deliver information technology services and solutions to defense, intelligence and civil agencies within the federal government. Based at NJVC headquarters in Vienna, VA, Mr. Tedesco’s role is to manage and facilitate all organizational elements and client relations. He joined NJVC in 2005 as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Information Technology (IT)/Information Services Program Manager with one of the company’s Intelligence Community customers, and was promoted to his current role of President in 2006.
Mr. Tedesco has more than 29 years of corporate management experience in both the commercial and federal IT markets. He has managed large global organizations and has proven effectiveness in developing and growing organizations, capabilities, effectiveness and business success. Before joining NJVC, he was the COO of Space Imaging (now GeoEye) in Thornton, CO. At Space Imaging, he successfully expanded the company from a small technology centric start up to eventually become the preeminent supplier of commercial high resolution imagery to the federal government, while proving the value of commercial imagery as a critical component of national security. Earlier, Mr. Tedesco served in a variety of other senior executive leadership positions: Vice President of Operations (Maxtor), Managing Director of Singapore Operations (Maxtor), Far East Controller for Asian Operations (MiniScribe), Division Controller (MiniScribe), Manufacturing Division Manager (MiniScribe) and Director/Core Team Lead for Desktop Products (Seagate). He began his career at IBM in 1982.
Mr. Tedesco has participated in Board level positions of other technology companies within the Federal sector and was a 2010 finalist for the Washington Area Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force, earned a bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO, and attended the University of Colorado Graduate School of Business in Boulder, CO.
