Management Team
Mr. Andersen possesses 21 years of professional experience—15 in government contracting. He joined NJVC in 2009 as Vice President, Finance, and was in charge of the day-to-day activities of the company’s Finance and Accounting Team. Prior to his tenure at NJVC, Mr. Andersen was Controller for a $1.4-billion business unit, and earlier a $294-million segment, with BearingPoint. He was a key member of the Financial and Accounting Team that led the company to become current with SEC filings, and addressed and resolved many of its complex accounting and business issues.
Previously, Mr. Andersen spent 10 years at SAIC, most recently serving as Vice President, Administration, Senior Deputy Controller, Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, for a $250-million business unit. He led acquisitions, the integration of an acquisition and a divestiture and turned around a business unit with a poor audit record. Mr. Andersen also held other financial positions of increasing responsibility with a variety of other companies, and as a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, served in the Presidential Helicopter Squadron: an elite, specialized squadron providing direct global support to the President of the United States.
Mr. Andersen received a master’s degree in Business Administration from Averett University in Danville, VA, and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Park University in Parkville, MO. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
