Torie Williams, Enterprise Management & Monitoring Practice Lead
As practice lead for NJVC’s enterprise management & monitoring (EMM) services, Torie Williams oversees all aspects of the company’s activities related to EMM, including technical operations, strategic planning and business development. Mr. Williams manages a practice of more than 200 staff and an operational budget in excess of $48 million.
Since 2009, Mr. Williams has served NJVC in a variety of technical and managerial roles. Most recently, he was director of technical operations for NJVC’s enterprise management services. In his role, he managed all technical aspects of the company’s enterprise management service delivery, notably for a large Intelligence Community customer. Under his leadership, NJVC delivered timely, mission enabling, centralized services to include 24x7 infrastructure monitoring and remote resolution, service desk, knowledge management, software deployment, workflow management, account creations, integrated enterprise engineering and command-and-control.
Prior to joining NJVC, Mr. Williams held a series of progressively responsible positions at Arctic Slope Regional Corporation from 2005 to 2009. In his last position with ASRC, Mr. Williams managed a staff of 30 personnel responsible for providing operational infrastructure and centralized monitoring for an intelligence agency. His leadership was vital in transitioning the customer from a decentralized to centralized enterprise monitoring service ultimately increasing the availability of mission services.
Prior to his career in the private sector, Mr. Williams proudly served in the United States Army for nearly 10 years, rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant (P). Mr. Williams served in a variety of roles in telecommunications and information technology, the last six of which were in a leadership position. He is a graduate of Columbia Southern University, with a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership.
